Now I have to admit that I was a bit dubious about this because I don't like thick liqueurs, like Baileys. So it has taken me a while to pluck up the courage to try it. But I have to tell you that it is gorgeous!!! Not thick and claggy as I imagined, at all :-) It tastes like cherry liqueur chocolates, but without that almond-y taste, in fact it reminds me of the Christmas cherry liqueur chocs stocked by Lidl .... must go and see if they have some this year.
It's all gone now ..... so Sy, if you see another one this year ........ :-)
Sounds unusual but you obviously enjoyed it. A friend of mine always said dark chocolate and red wine were a perfect match.
